Spring is more than a season. It’s a feeling. A mood. I always long to capture it somehow to experience its effervescence whenever a yearning strikes–the play of sunshine on rain-splattered streets, the confetti of cherry blossom petals, the promise of something new and beautiful. In this spirit, I’ve filmed a new episode for Bois de Jasmin’s channel and compiled a list of fragrances that evoke such a mood for me. It’s based on the list I created for my spring-themed article, and below, I add a few extra choices from the latest releases.
My choices mentioned in the video include my three green, unsweetened favorites:
The Different Company Tokyo Bloom
The following group is mossy-earthy, with a radiant effect.
Next is a tea fragrance woven through with floral notes and soft musk.
Dior Thé Cachemire
For those who love classics, Guerlain has several beautiful spring-like fragrances. Chamade, Jicky and Vétiver are great options.
As for more recent launches, I would like to highlight the following three fragrances.

Immortelle Corse oscillates between the drama of spring and the languor of summer, but in the end, it’s vibrant and full of verve. Whatever the season, whatever the mood, it feels right.

Nikos: I love immortelle corse but I still can’t bring myself to commit to a full bottle. I would love to hear your thoughts on immortelle based fragrances in some article. I’m also eagerly waiting to try Parfum d’ empire’s new addition to the Corse series.
As for spring fragrances, spring seems to be so short lived here in Greece. The sad effects of climate change. It’s just head on to summer. So I’ll also be waiting for your summer choices which I always find interesting. I will be showering myself to eau de Guerlain thanks to your valuable insight. May 17, 2021 at 7:51am

Fazal: The last year has been tough for you as you were so used to traveling before the pandemic began. I guess these uplifting fragrances would make a great companion as you resume travel in the near future.

Duel is an awesome unsweetened green! Trust the house of Annick Goutal to come up with something that when I first smelled it made me wrinkle my nose and go…What? But of course it’s these new notes, difficult for my nose to comprehand at first, which rapidly become favourites. I love wearing Mandragore on my neck, and Duel toward my ankles. Today, however, I’m sporting a sample of Tubereuse Criminelle, which is really beautiful on a chilly spring day her.

Victoria: Wisteria is too difficult to capture. You can look for spicy jasmine perfumes to get close, but there is nothing exactly like it. May 18, 2021 at 2:17am

Silvermoon: Hello Ninon, I don’t have a perfume suggestion, but a soap with a beautiful mix of wisteria and lilac. So a fleeting enjoyment in the shower or bath, or perhaps to wash hands. Have you tried Nesti Dante’s soap called Romantica? It’s glicine di bolgheri e lilla (tuscan wisteria and lilac). May 23, 2021 at 11:11am
Ewan: Ewan: So it is springtime and I accidently came across this blog – I like essential oils mixing and tea, so here is quite a good place to be.
I noticed written somewhere else on this blog that the author wrote that the Rose is queen and Jasmin the king of fragrant flowers.
As the king and queen are generally husband and wife I wondered who their parents might be.
They must be Mother Myrrh and Father Frankincense. Frankincense in sunlight, bright and I put it at midday. Myrrh dark and mysterious I put tp midnight. Frankincense bestowed his qualities on Rose and she opens her petals and perfumes at dawn, while Myrrh gave her qualities to her son, Jasmin, who shares his fragrance in early evening.

Sijia: I have a bottle of Eau de Narcisse Bleu that for some reason, I never wanted to. It smells objectively fantastic, but it just doesn’t work on my skin.
