Oscar de la Renta newest fragrance live in love is “inspired by passion for life. The scent is a reflection of the woman who lives each day with joy, whose life is filled with beauty and inspiration. For her, there is no other way to live- she loves life.” Have you tried it already? If so, please comment.
“live in love opens with sparkling ginger orchid and bergamot, merged with lush hyacinth, green muguet and galbanum. The scent has a heart of florals, including jasmine sambac, orange flower and rose. Creamy white woods and sensual musk intertwine with amber, sandalwood and cedarwood at its base. The complexity of live in love evokes that of a classic scent, made with ingredients of the highest quality.”

I was pretty disappointed as I thought last year’s Esprit d’Oscar was stellar. This one, to me, was not. Bummer, because I thought the marketing was so clutch. March 15, 2012 at 4:20pm
Victoria: Thank you, Susan! I also found Esprit d’Oscar to be excellent, so I hoped that this might be interesting as well. March 16, 2012 at 12:19pm
civava: According to your description it is a must try. March 17, 2012 at 6:04am
pam: I tried this once on the way out of the mall. Wasn’t expecting much. I loved it–all afternoon! Must try it again. It had a sense of Happiness. Very Spring. March 17, 2012 at 9:50am
Susan: Well, I’d be willing to give it another shot with Live in Love. Maybe my expectations were unrealistic. March 20, 2012 at 9:48am

Vanessa: After the wonderful Esprit d’Oscar – which turned around my views on the whole house – I had high hopes of this one and managed to score a sample in Harrods the other day. The notes sounded most appealing – I am a sucker for anything with ginger in the name! – and whilst it was fresh and spring-like, it was disappointingly indistinct and the longevity was poor. Will try it again, but the first two tests left me wanting, sadly. March 27, 2012 at 7:46pm
