Dionne: I just got the sampler set for OJ last Friday and I’m gleefully going through it. Osmanthus was yesterday’s perfume, and unfortunately something in it gave me a raging headache. I was checking out reviews of it online, and found yours from 2005. I felt a little better reading that it gave Tania (is that Tania Sanchez of P:TG?) a headache as well. Too bad, because it’s quite lovely.
Actually, a question about this line. For everything I’ve tried thus far, it goes on quite quietly, and then actually gets louder about an hour in. Is it the Iso E that’s doing that? March 23, 2011 at 12:42pm
kjanicki: Don’t you wish you could go? I do love her perfumes. March 23, 2011 at 10:26am
Victoria: I really wish I were in London at that time! I have never even been to the boutique, but I hear that it is lovely. March 23, 2011 at 10:30am
Victoria: I have not worn it in a while, but I just found my sample and it is just as you say–slow start, but overall a crescendo development. I think that it is a combination of several different very radiant materials (hedione, green notes, fresh floral notes) and that woody note. I love how dazzling and bright the floral accord feels.
