Le Palais des Thés has launched a collection of non-caffeinated teas based on fruit. Each blend includes pieces of dried fruit, herbs, and flowers.
Jardin Suspendu is fresh and acidic. It’s a blend of apple, orange & orange peel, hibiscus flowers, rosehip peel, lemongrass, cornflower petals, sunflower petals, rose petals, mallow petals, and notes of mango and bergamot.
Jardin Tropical is sweet and tropical. It blends mango, pineapple, papaya and peach with rosehip peel, lemongrass, and cornflower petals.
Jardin Secret is minty and herbal, featuring apple, papaya, pineapple, mango, lemongrass, spearmint, and rose.
Jardin Fruité is based on red berries, and it’s a mix of goji berries, blueberries, cranberries, date, kiwi, and pineapple.
These teas may be enjoyed hot and iced, and Le Palais des Thés provides 3 recipes for iced teas.

Sandra: This post I love!
I have a cupboard dedicated just to tea!
I will try this out –
This morning I am drinking Mariage Freres sweet caramel tasting tea – wedding imperial.
Perfect tea to start my busy working day ❤️️ August 5, 2014 at 7:16am
Victoria: It is! I have a few MF samples and Wedding Imperial is one of them. Maybe, I will drink it tomorrow. August 5, 2014 at 10:02pm
Ari: I will take Jardin Secret, please and thank you. 😀 August 5, 2014 at 8:39am
Victoria: I sniffed them at the boutique the other day, and Jardin Secret was my favorite. It smells like minty apricots. I didn’t taste it yet. August 5, 2014 at 10:05pm
Annette: What a coincidence! I mean this post about tea. Just a couple of hours ago I ordered Hot Cinnamon Spice from Harney & Sons, which was mentioned in this blog and got me intrigued as anything cinnamony is up my alley. And right now I am enjoying a delicious cup of Dilmah’s Acai Berry Pomegranate and Vanilla. Give me a cuppa to one hand and a book to the other and I’m in heaven:) August 5, 2014 at 8:39am
Victoria: Me too, Annette! Whenever I think of an ideal way to pass time, a cup of tea and a book is what I envision.
And I love Harney & Sons’ teas! August 5, 2014 at 10:06pm
Portia: Thanks Victoria,
I didn’t know the traditional way for making iced tea.

Victoria: I was curious to learn 3 ways of going about it! August 5, 2014 at 10:08pm
Nancy A.: They all sound delish. I love iced tea, herbal tea in particular and I recently made a mango- flavored iced tea which doesn’t provide the impact I wanted and here you write about the allure of Palais des Teas. Good timing. I cannot recall if African Rooibos makes for a good iced tea — my hunch is maybe just hot. Combining herbal teas can good if the blend is right. I guess that’s what PDT is doing. Tx for the post! August 5, 2014 at 10:48am
Victoria: Rooibos even on its own smells wonderful, and I think I prefer it iced, because you can taste different nuances. LPDT had several rooibos varieties, so once I finished what I already have, I will try one of their blends. August 5, 2014 at 10:09pm
Hannah: I was just looking at Palais des Thes last night.
I don’t like fruit in tea, though. I’m most interested in the orange blossom oolong, rooibos du hammam (even though it has fruit), and the fleur de geisha green tea. August 5, 2014 at 11:30am
Victoria: Yes, they have plenty of non fruity flavors, but I surprised myself at falling hard for their Poire, pear flavored green tea. It was subtle and not too sweet. August 5, 2014 at 10:10pm
Hannah: I might get the 4 miniatures set that includes: Thé du Hammam, Thé des Moines, Fleur de Geisha, and Thé des Lords. August 5, 2014 at 10:56pm
Victoria: It’s a good set, because there is enough diversity, but the flavors are light and not too artificial. The only tea I didn’t like among that selection was Thé des Lords, which doesn’t compare well to LPDT’s other bergamot scented teas. August 6, 2014 at 5:50am
Hannah: What are your favorite unflavored teas from Palais des Thes? August 6, 2014 at 2:16pm
Victoria: Pettiagalla, which is orange pekoe from Sri Lanka. Then their Perles de Jasmin is incredible. All of the Japanese green teas I’ve tried were very good. And Long Jin. August 6, 2014 at 4:52pm
AndreaR: I love tea and Le Palais des Thes Jardin Teas sound delectable!
I drink tea according to the season. A summer morning in the Pacific Northwest begins with a cup of Steven Smith tea. I brew a pot of Big Hibiscus and have it hot in the morning and iced throughout the day. August 5, 2014 at 11:46am
Victoria: Hibiscus is something I’ve started brewing more often, and I’ve tried making it into iced tea by steeping it in cold water. It really works and the flavor is crisper, brighter. August 5, 2014 at 10:11pm
solanace: These look beautiful. I´m happy because my book about the Punic Wars, suggested by Cornelia, just arrived! August 5, 2014 at 2:09pm
Cornelia Blimber: The one by Adrian Goldsworthy! Happy reading!
I am enjoying his new book, a biography of Augustus. August 5, 2014 at 5:49pm
solanace: Thank´s! August 6, 2014 at 3:09pm
Victoria: Wonderful! A new book is like a new adventure, and Cornelia, from what I have seen in her comments, is quite a book enabler (and a Renaissance woman). August 5, 2014 at 10:16pm
Cornelia Blimber: You make me blush! August 6, 2014 at 5:22am
Victoria: 🙂 August 6, 2014 at 10:14am
solanace: You both are! Just finishing Anna Karenina, such a delightful read I don´t want it to end, not to mention that the line ´finesses de sentiment´just came in handy today! August 6, 2014 at 3:12pm
Victoria: So glad to hear that you like it. It’s one of my favorite novels! August 6, 2014 at 3:49pm
Jessica M: Palais des Thes is one of my favorite tea brands, possibly my top favorite — but I didn’t know about these yet! I want the red-fruit blend now. Thanks, V! August 5, 2014 at 5:47pm
Victoria: I spotted them at the boutique and they said that they are brand new. They smell amazing, and I am not a big fan of fruity teas. I bought a package of Jardin Secret, so I will be testing it tomorrow. August 5, 2014 at 10:19pm
Polly: Ah, my Achilles heel! Born in the UK, I love the fragrance of teas such as these but I have no desire to ingest them. I do drink green and white teas if they compliment a particular dish but nothing can compare with the comfort, flavor and delight of a cup of strong, red-hued Rosy Lee (tea). The flavor of other herbal infusions never really lives up to the promise of their aroma. August 5, 2014 at 7:06pm
Victoria: I’m usually not a big fan of flavored teas, but I can be tempted. Having my late night Kusmi Violetta right now. August 5, 2014 at 10:20pm
Aurora: Oh, thank you for ‘the three ways’, so useful for summer.
Your post makes me dream of taking a walk in Le Marais, go to their shop there and smell these new blends. August 6, 2014 at 6:58am
Victoria: It’s one of my favorite areas of Paris, and it still preserves the aura of the medieval Paris. I love all of those winding streets, where it is so good to wander and discover galleries, boutiques and cafes. August 6, 2014 at 10:16am
Andy: It’s been a long time since I’ve been really impressed by an herbal tea (I’m unfortunately biased against them sometimes), though the last time I was it was by Mélange du Cap which you had recommended. Of all four, Jardin Secret sounds the most appealing to me, so I’d love to hear what you think after tasting! August 6, 2014 at 12:13pm
